am requesting the assistance of the King County Sheriff's Office in enforcing the criminal trespass law at
my property, place of business, and /or the parking lot.

1 have information that my property, business, and/or the parking lot is being used as a meeting place for
criminal activity to include, but not be limited to, illegal drug transactions, illegal drug use, and/or illegal
alcohol use.
want to prevent this type of activity from occurring at my property, business, and /or the parking lot. In an
effort to do so, I have posted the property with signs saying "CRIMINAL TRESPASS PROHIBITED/ NO
LOITERING—this property is reserved for the use of our guests, patrons and customers only. All
violations of the King County Code and Revised Code of Washington are prohibited. Violation of these
conditions, including violation of the law, may subject the violator to Prosecution".
By this letter, I authorize officers of the King County Sheriff's Office to advise unwanted individuals that
they are trespassing and to take appropriate enforcement action against those who loiter or engage in
illegal activity at the listed location.
will appear in court to testify, as necessary, regarding my having given King County Sheriff's Officers the
authority to warn trespassers on my behalf and to take appropriate enforcement action. I will hold King
County harmless from liability or claim of liability if I fail to appear in court to testify for the
prosecution.
