All other provisions of the original Agreement or prior Amendments not inconsistent with this Amendment shall remain in full force and effect. For valuable consideration and by mutual consent of the parties, Consultant or Vendor's work is modified as follows: 1. Section I of the Agreement, entitled "Description of Work," is hereby modified to add additional work or revise existing work as follows: In addition to work required under the original Agreement and any prior Amendments, the Consultant or Vendor shall: As described in the attached Exhibit A, incorporated herein, contractor shall provide additional architectural services. 2. Task A:Sign Blade Revisions Sub-Tasks: 1. (1)Coordination meeting to verify need and determine direction. 2. Generate construction-ready drawings of final blade sign design to be included in a design manual. a. Measured CAD and/or Adobe files that can be provided to fabricator. b. Digital files that can be incorporated into PRCS manuals. Layout to be provided or specified by Kent PRCS. Task B: Update KVLT Map and Map Kiosk Layout Sub-Tasks: 1. (2)Coordination meetings to verify need and determine direction. 2. Incorporate new GIS information and refine graphic clarity of overall Kent Valley Loop Trail (KVLT) map. 3. Revise map kiosk layout to incorporate additional communication needs(event announcements,etc.). a. (1)Coordination meeting to review above updates and provide comment. b. (1)Coordination meeting to review final products. 4. Assist in kiosk selection and fabrication coordination (if needed). 5. Format KVLT map for use in the Kent PRCS Manual; layout/format provided by Kent PRCS. Incorporate KVIS signage into existing manual.Arrange graphics/product images into digital layout files provided by Kent PRCS or with layout specifications provided by Kent PRCS. a. Incorporate other signage/furnishings not currently in manual based on input provided by Kent PRCS. Includes a new kiosk. Task D: Bid Services Sub-Tasks: 1. (2)Coordination meetings to verify need and determine direction. 2. Assemble a bid package to document elements to be constructed in Jan/Feb 2024. a. Kent PRCS to walk the site and provide existing conditions that will be used as a basis for construction documents. b. Kent PRCS to identify demolition plans based on available GIS data. Berger to document. c. Berger to compile draft site implementation plans that utilize new KVLT standards for Kent PRCS review. d. Berger to compile vendor-provided and city-standard details and specifications necessary for construction. e. Berger to develop a biddable package ready for advertisement. Kent PRCS to administer bid process and address bidder questions. Schedule We understand this process will occur throughout 2023,with construction early in 2024 as follows: 1. Mid-May through mid-July: Update KVLT map and map kiosk layout. Include format of map to be included in revised Park and Facilities Guide. 2. September/October: Develop standards manual and bid package. 3. November/December: Bid,select contractor,order products. 4. January/February 2024—Installation. 5.17.23 P A R T N E R S H I P Kent Parks, an Re bergerKent Parks,Recreation&Community Services Proposal for Additional Landscape Architectural Services:Kent Valley Industrial Signage Page 3 of 3 Fees Based on the scope of services identified at this time,we have established a not to exceed hourly fee as follows: Task A:Sign Blade Revisions $3,975.00 Task B: Update KVLT Map and Map Kiosk Layout $8,835.00 Task C: KVIS Furnishings and Signage Standards Manual $3,255.00 Task D: Bid Services $5,295.00 Total $21,360.00 Fees will be billed on a monthly basis for hours accumulated at the following rates.Services beyond those noted in this proposal will be billed as additional services on an hourly basis as follows,or lump sum fees can be negotiated: Principal $225.00 per hour Associate $180.00 per hour Project Manager $150.00 per hour Landscape Designer $120.00 per hour Administrative Staff $105.00 per hour Printing, reprographic expenses, CAD plots,travel costs,and other reimbursable expenses will be billed in addition to the above fees at cost plus a 10%administrative mark-up.All accounts are 90 days. Invoices not paid within 120 days of invoice date will be subject to late charges of 1%per month. If payment for services is not received within 120 days of the invoice date,all subsequent services and/or issuance of documents may be postponed until receipt of payment, unless special arrangements are made prior to providing the services.
