The Food Hub project seeks to address the missing middle in commercial facilities, caused by the expenses of real estate, commercial grade equipment and storage. These challenges are particularly acute for entrepreneurs and organizations from BIPOC communities, who often lack the startup capital to access existing facilities or develop this infrastructure for themselves. FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION AND TERM: By execution of this updated agreement, the City of Kent agrees to provide an additional $15,000.00 to King County for additional consultant work and extend the term of the agreement to December 31, 2023. All other terms to remain the same. Upon execution of this Agreement, the County will invoice the City of Kent for its respective share of the additional consultant work.
