The meeting was called to order at 3:03 p.m.

3. Approval of April 15, 2021 Minutes
Commissioner Robinson MOVED to approve the Minutes. Commissioner Guy
SECONDED the motion. Motion Passed.
4. Organization Presentation
• Kathy Powers, Orion: Orion provides opportunity and systems of support
through competitive skills training, education, and job placement.
• Tahmina Martelly, World Relief: Tahmina presented on resiliency programs,
vision, and services providing basic needs for families as they begin a new life in
Western Washington. World Relief is one of nine organizations in the United
States that can receive and resettle immigrants and refugees.
6. Update - CDBG-CV process
Senior CDBG Coordinator, Dinah Wilson, provided updates on the CDBG-CV process.
Dinah is assembling an application review team that includes Commissioners and
community member(s). The team will recommend that some of the CV-3 funds be
awarded to projects that received Round 2 funds, along with recommendations for
funding some of the CV-3 applicants. The review meeting date is June 7t". Connie &
Zandria volunteered to be on the review team.
