The meeting was called to order at 3:07 p.m.

3. Approval of November 17, 2022 Minutes
Commissioner Yu motioned to approve the minutes from the November 17, 2022.
Commissioner Stolpp MOVED, and Commissioner Robinson SECONDED the motion.
Motion PASSED 7-0.
4. Kent Housing Snapshot - Presentation
Human Services Manager, Merina Hanson, and Senior Human Services Planner Lori
Guilfoyle provided a presentation on several topics related to housing in Kent.
Additional links to information and data were presented to commission for further
exploration.
S. Population Specific Research
CDBG Senior Planner, Brittany Gaines, provided a brief update on the planning
project. The group has been working to identify priorities and continues to explore
who to include in the ongoing conversation.
6. Human Services Web Page
Human Services Planner, Christine Horn, provided an overview of the Human Services
page and the various topics, resources, and links that are included within the City

web page. Commissioners were asked to review the page and provide feedback on
what they find useful, what additional information is needed, and what improvements

7. Updates
General updates provided by staff:
UTOPIA and Sea Mar successfully secured funding in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023
appropriations process by Representative Smith as part of the newly passed federal
funding package.
9. Adjournment
Commissioner Yu adjourned the meeting at 4:34 p.m.
