Spotlight Series Performance Report: The Second City, 12/3 -243 attended (70% capacity) Magical Strings, 12/6 -296 attended (85% capacity) Upcoming Performances: International Guitar Night, 1/29 -Volunteers: Michael Taskey -Sales: 63 B. 2016-2017 booking update: none 7. Visual Arts/Acquisitions Committee NO Staff Billerbeck 5 Unless otherwise noted, the Arts Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Centennial Center, Conference Room 401, 400 West Gowe St., Kent, WA 98032. Community Arts Support Program -2016 YES Staff Billerbeck 10 Funding recommendations: KidsQuest: Children's Museum $1,500 Rainier Chorale: $2,250 Rainier Youth Choirs: $1,500 Senior Activity Center: $1,500 Lynn Bohart made a motion to approve the funding recommendations. Susan Machler seconded and the motion carried unanimously. (Linda Mackintosh abstained from the vote due to conflict of interest as a member of Rainier Chorale.) 9. Elections of 2016 Officers YES Chair Smith 5 Chair: Dan Cox Vice Chair: Suzanne Smith Treasurer: Sharona Chandra Recording Secretary: Linda Mackintosh Corresponding Secretary: Tonya Goodwillie Susan Machler made a motion to approve the slate of officers as presented. Bayard DuBois seconded and the motion carried unanimously. 10.
