Commission Chair Ritchie called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m.
2. Changes to Agenda:
None
3. Approve Minutes dated February 22, 2023:

4. Welcome New Park Commissioners:
Chair Duggan introduced Miriam Alvarez-Pintor and Suzanne Smith as the newest
Park Commissioners and welcomed them to share with the commission about
themselves; then, each commissioner introduced themselves. Q&A occurred.
No actions or decisions were made.
S. Mill Creek Canyon / Earthworks Park Preliminary Site Plan Review:
Parks Planning & Dev Manager Terry Jungman shared a presentation titled Mill
Creek Canyon Earthworks Park Framework Plan with the Commission. Q&A
occurred. No actions or decisions were made.
6. Commission Updates, Planning, and Discussion:
Chair Duggan and Commissioner Morgan presented to the Commission suggested
changes to The Parks & Recreation Commission verbiage regarding the role of the
Commission. Q&A occurred. No actions or decisions were made.
7. Director/Commission Updates:
a. Coming Soon Park Grand Openings: April 1st Community Gardens 9 am, May
20t" Kherson Park TBA for time.
b. Next Meeting: Riverbend, Park Accomplishments
c. General Updates: No Lifeguards this year at Lake Meridian. Fee-based youth
program with funding for activities on Lake Meridian.
