MINUTES
June 1 , 1999
The regular meeting of the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee was called to order at 1:30 p.m. by
Chair, Judy Woods. Other committee members present: Linda Johnson, Carol Vass, Don Campbell,
and Scott Brown. Staff Present: City of Kent Director of Operations, Brent McFall
Approval of Meeting Minutes for November , 199 :
Revenu Report:
The adjusted collections from the Hotel/Motel tax, as of March 31, 1999 is $10,143 which reflects
collections from 13 of the 18 Motels. Fund balance as of February 1, was $18,049.

Performing Arts Land Acquisition:
Tourism Promotion:
McFall asked that two or three more months be taken before putting together the RFP for tourism. It
was agreed by the committee to wait.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:20 p.m.
Next Meeting:
All agreed to hold the next meeting at 1:30 p.m. on October 5.
