Below is a list of URL's that we believe fit the needs for Kent Tourism, we chose
these options to differentiate Kent from other cities and institutions based upon
an easy to remember and creative phrase.
Because Kent shares its name with the City of Kent in the United Kingdom our
options for URL's become limited based upon the sheer volume of search already
established and the need to stand out from the websites already in place around
the USA and world.
For example; visityourkent.com is a URL that differentiates it from any close links
in the UK and Kent College here in the United States. It is an easy to remember
phrase and will not put us in direct competition with www.visitkent.co.uk, or
www.kent.gov.uk, while at the same time relaying the message of Visit Kent.
Please review these URL's listed below and choose the one that is the best fit for
Kent Tourism.

Discussing how making the website is the absolute first step to take in order to begin the branding
campaign
• Once the design style is declared for the site we can start working on a to do list of what other
items are important(such as street signs)
• All marketing of the brand should inspire people to learn more, and learning more will be done on
the tourism website so we want the website to lead the direction of everything else
• Establish the preferred style of the site in the meeting
• Establish a time line for creating the website in the meeting
• Establish who is my final say on each stage of the website so we can move in line with the timeline
and not wait for group votes
