E. LTAC Grant to ECD to Support the Visit Kent Tourism Promotion
Campaign
Presentations by both members of the Jay Ray Team and their colleagues on r
the east coast from Datafy, who produce and manage narrowly targeted data

4-
somewhat hampered by technical issues and problematic acoustics in a split
meeting space. o
L
The 2023 campaign, which was ongoing as of the date of this meeting, has Q
demonstrated increased impressions and engagements, and the JayRay
proposal for 2023 is well received by Committee Members, who vote to a
recommend that proposal head to Council, by way of the Economic and o
Community Development Committee meeting in January.
N
N
O
The committee agrees that they would like to take a closer look at the
findings from the soon to conclude 2022 campaign, so JayRay and Datafy will
return in early 2023 for a deeper dive into their campaign results and o
findings. -
MOTION: Recommend Council award $133,500.00 Lodging Tax Funds r
to Economic and Community Development to renew and invigorate
the Visit Kent tourism promotion campaign currently managed by Jay
Ray.
