Reason and Background for Change When the Downey project originally went to bid the City provided the wood mulch. Bid item 8115 included the labor and equipment to place stockpiled mulch. Upon placing the provided material it was discovered that additonal mulch would be necessary to complete the project. Olson Brother's provided a price of $1,080.00 per 100 CY for providing and installing wood mulch. A total of 1100 CY were provided and installed. III.
