GeoEngineers, subcontracted to MacLeod Reckord, will provide the insurance for their team members to access the right of way. MacLeod Reckord and KPFF will not require access to the right of way for this work, so are excluded from the insurance requirement. GeoEngineers will provide an additional certificate of insurance naming the City of Kent and UPRR as additional insured. Project duration has extended several months beyond the previously anticipated schedule for completion due, primarily to the time required to obtain the access agreement from UPRR. MacLeod Reckord has expended additional project management effort for this extended schedule and is therefore requesting additional services for that time extension. The original time of completion for this contract was 12/31/22 and, due to the extended time frame to obtain access, we request extension of the contract to 12/31/23. Fee derivations for the above-described services are attached.
