CITY STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT:Rob Brown, April Delchamps, Erik Preston. 1.Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 5:45PM, with Wendy Gravespresiding. 2.Roll Call Aaron Dent, John Otakie and Andrew Sobczyk were absent.Two guests from political science class attended to observe. 3.Approval of Minutes October 28meetingminutes were reviewedand approved.Joe Cimaomo moved to accept the minutes and Julie Dunn seconded the motion.The minutes were approved by the board. 4.City of Kent Update KBAB Membership Recruitment continues for two open positions. Interviews are scheduled for week of December 2. Erik Preston and Rob Brown will conduct interviews and make recommendations to Mayor Ralph. The last Monday in May is a holiday. The Board proposed rescheduling the meeting st .The Mel Roberts moved to accept the 2020 meeting dates to Monday, June 1 proposed by the BoardandJoe Cimaomo seconded the motion. The board accepted the KBAB 2020 meeting datesproposed by City of Kent. 5.Transportation Master Plan Update April Delchamps Next steps:All layers combined on one map: pedestrian, bike, freight, vehicle traffic and transitby December or January. Request comments on LTS (level of traffic stress for bicyclists) map to April by December 6. o Should LTS be different than depicted o Should a major corridor be added? o Not in agreement by LTS of corridor? o Identify other corridors for bike routes. Vote on Car Tab Initiative affects To Be Determined.State has put Gateway project on hold and several other projects.CTR on hold for City of Kent. Action Items: Contact Cascade Bicycle Club “Traffic Garden”: Julie Dunn Contact KAC PTA and Fire District 37: Support of helmets and bicycle safety rodeo— Lynell Mooney Bike To Work May 15. 2020: Sponsor pit stop with resourcesto pass out to cyclists Counting bikes location 8.Adjournment At6:50PM, meeting wasdeclared adjourned.
