Call to Order/Roll Call: Commission Chair Taylor called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. 2. Changes to Agenda: None 3. Approve Minutes dated January 27, 2021: Approved 4. Public Comment (if any): Tim Brown 1770 – Sr. Needs Assessment 5. Welcome Mayor Ralph: (item moved to 12) Mayor Ralph thanked the Commission for their work and wanted to see if the Commissioners had any questions for her. Q&A occurred. No actions or decisions made. 6. Welcome New Commissioners: Scott Taylor welcomed the new Commissioners and gave them time to introduce themselves. No actions or decisions made. 7. Re-introduction of Current Commissioners: Each Commissioner gave a brief introduction of themselves for the new commissioners. No actions or decisions made. 8. Reschedule date of March Meeting: Director Parascondola and Deputy Director have a conflict for the Marth meeting. A doodle poll will be sent out to the commissioners to choose a new date. Q&A occurred. No actions or decisions made. 9. Social Media Spotlight Series on PRC: Director Parascondola requested feedback regarding promoting the Commission to the public. Q&A occurred. Greater Kent Historical Society Strategic Plan (Joint project): Director Parascondola highlighted the GKHS and the services and programs provided. The City will be utilizing carry forward funds towards developing a Strategic Plan for GKHS. Q&A occurred. No actions or decisions made. 12. Senior Center / Seniors Needs Assessment: Director Parascondola addressed Tim Brown's statements regarding the Senior Center and updated the Commission on current programs and services due to COVID. Director/Commission Updates: Adaptive Recreation – currently looking at potentially considering small group programs for that population that is not at risk. Q&A occurred.
