Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 3:01 p.m. 2. Roll Call Connie Stolpp, Chair Bill Hallerman, Commissioner Rickie Robinson, Commissioner Gina Bellisario, Commissioner Zenovia Harris, Commissioner Zandria Michaud, Council Member Merina Hanson, Human Services Manager Dinah Wilson, Senior CDBG Planner Lori Guilfoyle, Senior Human Services Planner Christine Cain, Human Services Planner Dana Ralph, Mayor Uriel Varela, Interim Race & Equity Manager Absent: Selam Demssie, Co-Chair 3. Approval of March 18, 2021 Minutes Commissioner Robinson MOVED to approve the Minutes. Commissioner Hallerman SECONDED the motion. Motion Passed. 4. Mayor Dana Ralph Mayor Dana Ralph thanked Human Services Commissioners and staff for their dedication and hard work over the past year during the application cycle and through the pandemic. Commissioners and Mayor Ralph discussed current events impacting the City and human services in general. 5. Public Hearing 2020 Consolidated Annual Performance Report Senior CDBG Coordinator, Dinah Wilson, provided a summary of information the 2020 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). The Public Hearing was opened at 3:19pm. There was no comment. Commissioner Bellisario SECONDED. Motion approved unanimously. Motion approved unanimously. 7. City of Kent Racial Equity Plan Update Interim Race & Equity Manager, Uriel Varela, presented on the City Race & Equity Plan. Human Services Commissioners were able to engage in discussion and ask questions about the process. 8. Updates Youth Mental Health Grant Funding Update Equitable Grantmaking Analysis Update 8.
