The meeting was called to order at 3:04 p.m.

3. Approval of July 16, 2020 Minutes
Commissioner Heinisch MOVED to approve the Minutes. Commissioner Demssie
SECONDED the motion. Motion Passed.
4. KC Strategic Climate Action Plan (SCAP) Jamie Stroble/Saba Rahman
Presenters Jamie and Saba provided information and updates on
Climate Action Plan (SCAP). SCAP is a five-year blueprint for County action to confront
climate change, integrating climate change into all areas of County operations and its
work in the community. The SCAP provi-stop--
goals, priorities and commitments.
5. Grantee Update
Senior Human Services Planner, Lori, provided an update on concerns with a currently
funded agency. Staff continues to be concerned about the agency responsiveness
and lack of timely reporting and will continue to update Commission on service
numbers and billing. The agency will not be funded in 2021-2022.

6. Commission Seat Nominations
Commissioner Robinson MOVED to nominate Commissioner Connie Stolpp as the
2021 Commission Chair. Commissioner Heinisch SECONDED.
Commissioner Robinson MOVED to nominate Commissioner Selam Demssie as the
2021 Human Services Commission Co-Chair. Commissioner Hallerman SECONDED.
7. Updates
Winter Celebration/Retirement Planning a virtual gathering and looking at
dates
Severe Weather Shelter Exploring options outside of shelter. Due to COVID
the congregate shelter in not an option. Looking at emergency supply
distribution and working with outreach providers to inform residents and plan
coordinated response in the event of a severe weather event.
Council Passed the 2021 budget.

Commissioner Robinson adjourned the meeting at 4:36 pm.
