Call to order – Chair Dan Cox called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m. 2. Roll Call – Excused absences for Bob Howell, Hal O’Brien, and Ryan Olmsted 3. Changes to the Agenda – Addition of item 7.E. Traffic Signal Control Box Art Wraps 4. February Minutes – Approved unanimously 5. Treasurer’s Report – Distributed for review 6. Performing Arts Committee A. Spotlight Series 2021-2022 -Live from Laurel Canyon – 84% capacity crowd of 301 -The Drifters – Sold out crowd of 361 -Alpin Hong – 3/18/22, 82 tickets sold, Michael Taskey will usher -Masters of Hawaiian Music – 3/25/22, 153 tickets sold, Bryan Ohno will usher B. 2022-2023 Booking – Five shows are currently confirmed 7. Visual Arts/Acquisitions Committee A. Titus Railroad Park Mural – One of the three potential relocations sites remains as an option – North side of Rain & Co. building. Staff will follow up with the property owner. B. Gallery – Student Art Exhibit: March C. Summer Art Exhibit: 2022 Jurors – Taskey made a motion to approve Stephanie Johnson and Ian Shearer as jurors for the 2022 Summer Art Exhibit. Ohno seconded and the motion carried unanimously. D. Kent Creates – Inspired by Greatness: 11 submissions E. SOCO Culture – Dan Cox reported that the next membership meeting will be held on March 22 around the topic of volunteer development. A meeting on May 11 will focus on accessibility issues. Dan will forward materials to staff to distribute to commissioners. 9. Next Meeting – Wed., April 13, 2022, 5:30 p.m., City Council Chambers 10. Adjourn – Chair Cox adjourned the meeting at 6:02 p.m.
