HEARING: Storm and Surface Water Utility Ordinance - General
Update of KCC 7.05 and 7.07
Laura Haren from Public Works gave a presentation on the Storm and
Surface Water Utility Ordinance general update of KCC 7.05 and 7.07. The
presentation followed the PowerPoint that was included in the Agenda Packet.
Sally McDonough had several questions regarding variations in the fee
structure.
MOTION: Recommend Council adopt an ordinance repealing and replacing
Chapter 7.05 of the Kent City Code, entitled "Storm and Surface Water Utility,"
and repealing Chapter 7.07.

Legal Responsibilities for Members of LUPB
Kaelene Nobis held an informal discussion regarding the necessary training
that the members need to take and how they would like to take it. There was
a consensus that each member would watch the video suggested by Kaelene
then there would be further training at a February meeting.
