Call to Order/Roll Call: Commission Chair Ritchie called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. 2. Changes to Agenda: None 3. Approve Minutes dated January 26, 2022: Approved 4. Public Comment (if any): None 5. Welcome Mayor Dana Ralph: Mayor welcomed the commissioners and opened the floor to questions. Q&A occurred. No actions or decisions were made. 6. Parks and Open Space Plan Update — Community Engagement & Equity Mapping: The Parks Planning & Dev Manager, Terry Jungman, presented the Kent Parks & Open Space Plan 2022 Presentation to Council Workshop dated 2/15/2022 with the Commission. Q&A occurred. No actions or decisions were made. 7. Parks and Recreation Commission — Bylaw Amendments Review and Discussion: The decision was made to move this item to the next meeting. S. Director/Commission Updates: The decision not to change the Hues property name to Panther Lake Park was made. The current working title is East Hill North property. Its decided name will be a community named park. Although Governor Inslee is lifting the restrictions, we currently abide by King County guidelines. Parks is struggling with hiring and are canceling programs because of a lack of seasonal youth staff. Kent Civic 101 is resuming. 9.
