Re: Termination of lnmateHousing Agreement
Dear Chief Padilla:
This letter will serve as written notification that Yakima County has decided to no longer offer
inmate contract housing services effective :'zb/zz.
The existing contract language reads as follows: Duration of Agreement. This agreernent will
renew annually for up to five (5) years unless there is written notification from one party to the
other that they wish to terminate the contract at the end of the current calendar year. Such
notification will be sent to the receiving party no later than October 1st of the current year.
We are grateful that we were able to assist you in meeting your inmate housing needs and we
truly appreciate your business and the partnership we have shared over the years.
