This is the FIRST AMENDMENT to AGREEMENT PTD0171 entered into between the
Washington State Department of Transportation (hereinafter referred to as "WSDOT"), and the
Ciff of kent (hereinafter referred to as "CONTRACTOR"), andlor individually referred to as the
"PARTY" and collectively referred to as the "PARTIES,"
RECITALS
WHEREAS, both PARTIES agree to amend AGREEMENT PTD0lTl to align biennial totals
with the 2021-2023legislatively approved budget. The overall project total remains the same.
o Move 8245,nt from"lg-2l Current Funds" to "202l-2023 Current Funds" and
o Move $6,764,000 from"2l-23 Projected Funds" to *2021-2023 Current Funds".
NOW THEREFORE, the following AMENDMENTS are hereby incorporated into
AGREEMENT PTDOIT1:

1. RECITALS are hereby incorporated into this AGREEMENT.
2. Amend the existing language in 'SCOPE OF WORK AND BUDGET - Current Agreement
Costs' and replace it to read as follows:

4. A copy of this AMENDMENT to the AGREEMENT shall be attached to and made a part of
the original AGREEMENT. Any references to the "AGREEMENT" shall mean
"AGREEMENT as amended."
5. All other terms and conditions of the original AGREEMENT not hereby amended shall
remain in full force and effect. This document may be simultaneously executed in several
counterparts, each of which shall be deemed original having identical legal effect.
