SUBJECT : CATV Administration Contract - 1983
The renewal of our contract for cable television administration was pulled
from last week' s Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion at this
Workshop. I find after discussing the matter with Mayor Hogan that her
primary concern lies in the area of negotiating franchise agreements and not
the administration of existing agreements.
Based upon our conversation I recommend the renewal of the service contract
between the City and 3-H Management Consultants be placed on next week' s
Consent Calendar. As you know Clearview Television and Group "W" hold
franchises within the City. Careful consideration obviously must be given
by staff and Council prior to the granting or renewing of franchises in the
future.
If you have any questions with respect to this memorandum .or the Service
Agreement, please don' t hesitate to call my office.

with respect to the performance required pursuant to the terms
of the franchise.

the privileges granted by said franchise are currently being
satisfactorily exercised by and may continue to be exercised by
Clearview T.V. Cable of Enumclaw, Inc. , d/b/a Clearview T.V.
Cable.
