RE: Consultant Services Agreement Termination
Dear Mr. McMakin:
This letter is formal notice that the City of Kent is terminating its contract for lobbying
services with your organization Van Ness Feldman, LLP. Per your offer made by email
to Derek Matheson, we would like to retroactively turn off the contract as of Nov. 1,
but continue our professional relationship on an informal basis when opportunities to
serve our interests present themselves in D.C.
If the future brings increased opportunities for you to represent our interests, we are
certainly willing to entering into another agreement. Thank you for your
understanding and professionalism.
