The internship will focus on program review, design and implementation focused on Kent 101 and provide recommendation to improve the program with attention to young people. Interns will complete a final report or presentation about the internship . Pursuant to Section I. of the Consultant Services Agreement (CSA) executed on Nov 1, 2021, Consultant shall provide the approximate number of City of Kent clients with the following services: Service Unit Descriptions and Deliverables Units for Kent Residents Contracted to Serve Service Unit 1: Outreach and engagement Description: The organization will implement a process to recruit young people (16-23 yrs old) to youth internships 3-5 youth contacted Service Unit 2: Youth Internship Description: The organization will host 2-4 youth in internships. Each intern will serve up to 20 hours and can included activities identified by the organization. 2-4 interns Service Unit 3: Learning Circle Description: Staff will participate in developing strategies for a youth employment program in Kent. 4 meetings A final report describing the recommendations will be submitted by the organization. Youth that participated in the internship program should assist in the final report as part of the internship. Funds Awarded: not to exceed $4,000 Unduplicated Kent Youth Contracted to Serve 4 The above services shall be provided by February 22, 2022 Contract Administration -The Consultant shall notify the City, in writing, within ten (10) days of any changes in agency leadership or program personnel. -The Consultant shall provide the City with a current list of its board of directors, general or limited partners, as applicable. -In special circumstances and upon written agreement between the City and Consultant through a revised Scope and Schedule of Work, unspent funds the CSA can be carried ove r to 2022. The revised Scope and Schedule of Work shall be attached and incorporated into the CSA. -All records related to the CSA must be retained for three (3) years plus the current year. Reporting Requirements and Timeline All data and required forms shall be submitted electronically. Reimbursement and Service Unit Report - This form will be filled out electronically and serve as the invoicing mechanism for payment to your agency/program. Data from this form will be used to track each program’s progress toward meeting the Scope of Work. It shall be submitted monthly, no later than the 10th of the day following the end of the month, unless otherwise specified.
