Accredita tion Contract
The Wnshington Association of Sheriffs anel Police Chiefs (WASPC) and the Kent Police
Departmcnt agree to enter into this contract for the purpose of the Kent Police Department Jail
achieving jail law enforcement accreditation througli the WASPC Law Enforcement Jeil
Accreditation Program.
Thc Kent Police Department agrees to pay WASPC an application fee of $100.00 and further
agrees to complete the agency jail self-assessment process and schedule an on-site withi¡r one
yeal of this application.
The Kent Poliee Department Âgrees to reimburse WASPC for stafJtime ($75lhour) and expenses
relating to thc on-site jail âssessment.
