CFC recommends replacing 160 lineal feet approximately 2 feet high (40 pieces 2 feet high by 4 feet long) to match the existing. This would require digging out the existing soil approx. one foot deep and one foot wide to allow access to remove the existing siding and install new siding. The existing metal flashing strip does not extend down to the bottom of the siding and will not be re-installed. CFC recommends placing nervastral (waterproofing membrane) over the new siding up to the top of the existing soil.
