Dear Chief Padilla:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the rate increases for the Enumclaw City Jail
effective January 1, 2022. The new rates for 2022 will be:
1. Daily Rate from $75.00 per day to $90.00 per day.
2. Guaranteed Bed Rate from$70.00 per day to $80.00 per day.
3. Self-pay Commitments Rate from $100.00 per day to $110.00 per day.
4. Administrative Book and Release Fee - $30.00 (guaranteed and non-guaranteed agencies)
This increase is necessary due to the continuing rising costs associated with inmate care and
housing. Also, it is needed to ensure we continue to provide the consistent professional care and
services to our valued outside agencies.
