All other provisions of the original Agreement or prior Amendments not inconsistent with this Amendment shall remain in full force and effect. For valuable consideration and by mutual consent of the parties, Consultant or Vendor's work is modified as follows: 1. Section I of the Agreement, entitled "Description of Work," is hereby modified to add additional work or revise existing work as follows: In addition to work required under the original Agreement and any prior Amendments, the Consultant or Vendor shall: Provide updated plans, specifications, HMMP' and support the development of a long term maintenance monitoring plan at the Hytek mitigation site. For a description, see the Consultant's Scope of Work which is attached as Exhibit A and incorporated by this reference. 2. (CONSULTANT) has prepared this Scope of Work (SOWlto provide updated plans, specifications, HMMP, and support the development of a long term maintenance and monitoring plan for nonnative vegetation clearing activities at the Hytek mitigation site at South 215th Street in Kent, Washington. Clearing and killing nonnative vegetation will begin the process of restoring wetlands and buffers consistent with the federal, state, and local compensatory wetland mitigation requirements of the CITY's South 224th Street Project. Based on email and phone communications with Meara Heubach at the CITY and the CONSULTANT's knowledge of the Site, the CONSULTANT developed this sow to support the CIW'S efforts to conduct the nonnative vegetation clearing work on both the Hytek North and Hytek South mitigation sites (collectively known as the Site) and develop long term maintenance and monitoring plans. This SOW describes the work to be accomplished by the CONSULTANT and summarizes the assumptions and deliverables for each work task. The SOW includes the following Tasks: o Task 1. Edit Plans and Cost Estimate o Task 2. Updates to USACE Approved HMMP r Task 3. Support for Long-Term Maintenance Plan r Task 4. Support for Long-Term Monitoring Plan Task 1. Edits to Plans and Cost Estimate ICF will make the following changes to the Nov. 2020 plan set and associated cost estimate o Change live stakes to be planted at 2' o.c' instead of 5' o.c. o Change wooly sedge to woolgrass (Scirpus cyperinus) o Add tilling prior to planting to herbicide areas on south site r Add no touch areas provided by Wood o Change construction entrance location on north plans r Add additional habitat log locations to south site (for 7 total) o Add snags to North site if directed to do so by the City r Add contaminated soil area language from City o Update bid list to reflect changes in quantities and species T City of Kent Public Works Department Exhibit A Hytek Scope Amendment 4 TuesdaY, MaY LL'2o2L . City redlines provided will not vary much from list of edits (listed above) received verbally and via email as of 5/3/2L r One round of review by City after edits are made. Any additional edits would be minor, would not include any changes or additions to the design, and would not require more than 2 hours to make. Review comments will be compiled into a single set and provided to ICF as a concise and consistent set of edits . City will edit Special Provisions as needed but City may ask ICF for one round of review for special provisions related to mitigation bid items r Excel spreadsheet of previous cost estimate will be provided to ICF by the City o Drawings will be stamped with a digital stamp (not wet signed) Deliverables r Draft Final plan set for final review by City r Final, stamped plan set in PDF and in AutocAD civil 3D 2018 format r Specifications in PDF format. r Construction cost estimate in PDF format Task 2. Updates to USACE Approved HMMP(sl ICF will support the City with updates to the USACE approved HMMP plans for the Hytek North and South mitigation sites. Assumptions o The City willtake the lead updating the HMMP, ICF will provide review and input. . Support for Long-Term Maintenance Plan The USACE permit for the south site requires the City to "provide a mitigation site long-term maintenance plan to the Corps prior to construction." ICF will support the City with creating this plan for the south site only. Assumptions o The City will take the lead in creating the Draft plan, ICF will review and finalize. r We are assuming the level of effort on lCFs part is equivalent to the amount shown in the cost estimate. r ICF will create a clean final document for submittal to USACE. Deliverables o Final maintenance as a Word and PDF file Task 4. Support for Long-Term Monitoring Plan The USACE permit for the north site requires the City to submit a "mitigation monitoring plan that describes the locations and number of monitoring plots and the statistical rationale for the monitoring design." The plan is due to the Corps before Year 1 monitoring beings. ICF will support the City with creating this plan for the north site only. Assumptions o The City will take the lead in creating the Draft of the plan, ICF will review and finalize. . We are assuming the level of effort on lCFs part is equivalent to the amount shown in the cost estimate. o ICF will create a clean final document for submittal to USACE.
