All other provisions of the original Agreement or prior Amendments not inconsistent with this Amendment shall remain in full force and effect. For valuable consideration and by mutual consent of the parties, Consultant or Vendor’s work is modified as follows: 1. (Wood), has prepared thisamendment to the scope and budget submitted on September 30, 2020 for Mill Creek SedimentSampling. The following items are included under this amendment:. Disposal costs for investigative derived waste (lDW) generated during sampling;o Time for Principal to review results of sediment sampling; and. Time to modify final sediment sampling report based on further discussions with agencies.Scope of ServicesDuring sediment sampling, excess sediment from each core was collected in S-gallon buckets. At the endof the sampling event, the buckets were emptied into a 2O-gallon drum. The drum was sealed and left inthe parking lot of the Kent Senior Activity Center. Wood contacted lngenium for disposal of the drum. Thecost of the drum and disposal are covered under this amendment.Following review of the Draft Sediment Core Sampling Report, the City of Kent requested furtherinformation regarding the impacts that the contaminated sediment may have on wildlife in the creek.Wood plans to bring in a Principal Fisheries Biologist and subject matter expert (SME) to lead thesediscussions and assist with finalizing the Sediment Core Sampling Report. This amendment covers up to8 hours of time for the SME.Following discussions between the City of Kent and the Wood SME, the Sediment Core Sampling Reportthat was finalized could require modification. This amendment covers time for a Wood staff scientist andprincipal scientist to modify the report and reissue the final.Cost estimateAll work will be conducted on a time and materials budget in accordance with your agreement and thisscope of work.
