B. 2015-2019 City Art Plan
Kent Arts DIY update – New name (Kent Creates)
-Empirical UX will work on branding ideas in addition to developing web
platform.
-Visual Arts Committee will work on finalizing administrative logistics of the
program as part of 2016-2020 City Art Plan discussions.
C. 2016-2020 City Art Plan: February meeting - TBD
8. Community Arts Support Program -2016 NO Staff Billerbeck 5
Recognition at Council – same or new ideas?
-Commissioners like the idea of featuring a funding
recipient at a Council meeting.

15. Give Me Culture Application review and vote YES Staff Billerbeck
Via email after the January meeting.
Dan Cox made a motion to approve full funding ($1,000) for
Green River College’s Interurban Center for the Arts’ Art Docent
Program. Michael Taskey seconded and the motion approved by
the following “yea” votes: DuBois, Mackintosh, Bohart, Chandra,
O’Brien, Smith, Emily Taskey, Jen Treese. (Goodwillie and Machler did
not vote.)
