Memo dated November 9, 2016 from Recruitment Officer Wayne Graff and Chief Examiner Winecka outlining proposed changes to the Entry Level and Lateral Corrections Officer testing processes. Chief Examiner Winecka and Ofr. Wayne Graff explained the changes that were being proposed and the reasoning behind the changes. It is anticipated that these changes will help us to streamline our process and get to candidates faster which is crucial in the competitive hiring environment. Additionally, we hope that we will be able to test and do background investigations on more candidates than we can with our old process. Chair Zaratkiewicz expressed a concern that candidates that aren’t computer savvy would be at a loss and Ofr. Graff explained that it isn’t a computer skills test; instead it is a multiple choice test and we simply use the computer to administer the exam.
