NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cultural Communities Board will hold a
SPECIAL MEETING on October 10, 2017, from 7-9 p.m. in the E.W. Auditorium,
Kent-Meridian High School, 10020 SE 256th Street, in Kent.
The purpose of the special meeting is to host a mayoral candidates’ forum. The
moderated forum will be a question and answer style information session and focus
on issues that impact immigrants and refugees, people of color, individuals with
disabilities and the LGBTQ community.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 6:45 p.m., as the mayoral candidates’ forum
will begin promptly at 7 p.m.

The Cultural Communities Board regularly meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at
the Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 East Smith Street, Room 8, Kent, Washington 98032, unless
otherwise noted.
