BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Board Chair Melvin Roberts, Board Secretary Frank
Boosman, board members Rich Davis, Andrew Sobczyk, Brandon Swanson, Scott
Taylor.
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Carla Maloney, Design Engineering Manager.
ABSENT: Board Vice-Chair Karen Chandler, board members Kyle Applebury,
Craig Fuller, Nick Swan, Dmitriy Zhuravel.
1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 5:48 PM, with Board Chair Melvin Roberts
presiding.
2. Roll Call
Board Vice-Chair Karen Chandler and board members Kyle Applebury, Craig Fuller,
Nick Swan, and Dmitriy Zhuravel were absent.
3. West 240th Street
A discussion was held regarding the section of West 240th Street from Lakeside
Blvd. to the Green River Trail. This is an 800-foot section of road that is slated for
improvements that do not include explicit provisions for cycling. No action items
were noted following this discussion.
4. Strategic Priorities Discussion
The discussion of West 240th Street led to a discussion of Board priorities. A
number of Board members expressed the sentiment that a discussion of strategic
priorities would be useful. The next Board meeting, August 28, 2017, will focus on
this issue.
5. Adjournment
At 7:00 PM, Board Chair Melvin Roberts declared the meeting adjourned.
