Rm 402 Attending: Chair Zandria Michaud, Co-chair Annie Sieger, Annette Bailes, Kristie Duggan, Richard Minutoli, Scott Taylor, Tim Wilson, Todd Minor, Director Julie Parascondola Absent: Randy Furukawa, Barry Fretwell, Kathleen Roberts, Ed Keeley, Jennifer Ritchie 1. Call to Order/Roll Call Commission Chair Michaud called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. 2. Changes to Agenda None 3. Minutes dated October 23, 2019: Approved with friendly changes 4. Public Comment Mr. Ion Manea in attendance to hear an update on item 8 of agenda. 5. Open Public Meeting Rules Ron Lashley briefly went over the handout from the previous months PRC Meeting regarding OPMA – Electronic Communications 6. Marketing Plan Update Handouts of JayRay Peer Analysis and Collateral Audit Summary, covering what Kent Parks marketing exposure in the community is, was presented and discussed with the Commission. Winter 2018-2019 Program guide given to Commission. 7. King County Levy Update / Discussion. Director Parascondola presented a Draft of the KC Parks Your Big Backyard 2020-2025 Funding Development. High-level update regarding funding distribution of KC Levy was given. 8. Lower Russell Road Update Deputy Director Levenhagen presented a powerpoint presentation of the Lower Russell Levee Project Update. Mr. Ion wanted to know the timeline of the Page | 2 project as well as voiced concern of loss of such a historic area and its vegetation. 9. General Updates / Announcements Hired new Parks Planning Manager. Still looking to fill Brian Levenhagen’s old position. Half Lion will be the new restauranteur for the Riverbend Golf Course. Ron to verify correct emails of commission and send out Doodle Pool regarding having a meeting in December at a different day. 10.
