BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Board Chair Melvin Roberts; Board Vice-Chair Karen
Chandler; Board Secretary Frank Boosman; board members Rich Davis, Aaron Dent,
Wendy Graves, Lynell Mooney, John Otakie, Andrew Sobczyk, and Brandon Swanson.
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Rob Brown and Dan Hansen.
ABSENT: Nick Swan.

1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 5:45 PM, with Melvin Roberts presiding.
2. Roll Call
Board member Nick Swan was absent.
3. Approval of Minutes
It was moved by Brandon Swanson and seconded by Rich Davis that the minutes of
the meeting dated March 26, 2018 be approved; the motion was carried unanimously.
4. Election of Secretary
Frank Boosman formally submitted his resignation as Secretary (while continuing to
serve on the Board). Lynell Mooney submitted her name as a candidate for the
position. Karen Chandler moved and Brandon Swanson seconded that the Board elect
Lynell Mooney as Secretary; the motion was carried unanimously.
5. MMoM Grant Application
Melvin Roberts presented a letter to be supplied to the City of Kent, on behalf of the
entire Board, in support of the City’s application for a grant related to cycling
infrastructure for the Meet Me on Meeker (MMoM) project. All Board members present
initialed the letter to indicate their support.
6. Gateway Program
Rob Brown presented details of the Gateway Program.
7. Discussion of Gateway Program

8. Adjournment
At 7:00 PM, Melvin Roberts declared the meeting adjourned.
