Re Re-lnstatement on Eligibility List
City of Kent Civil Service Commission
Chief Examiner Natalie Winecka
From: Luis Villalpando
Date: 81712019
My name is Luis Villalpando. I applied as a Lateral Police Officer for the city of Kent in March
2019.1 completed the application and initial testing process and had moved into the background
investigation portion of your hiring process.
During the background investigation, I became aware of some delinquent accounts which were
showing on my credit report. I want to be the best candidate possible and so rather than
continue and chance the appearance that I was irresponsible; I chose to withdraw from the
eligibility list and correct these accounts.
I have since contacted those creditors and have paid my debts. I am requesting my name be
placed back on the eligibility list so that I may once again be considered for the position of City
of Kent Police Officer.
