Appeal dated May 3, 2012 from Andrew Takach challenging the removal of his name from the Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Entry Level Police Officer. He advised me that I had a directive from Chief Thomas to return to full duty tomorrow (3/4/14) at 0800 hours, or be subject to disciplinary actions. I have not received a letter from Kevin Kincade of Eberle Vivian regarding my medical clearance approved by the IME Doctor (Kirby) and Dr. Arroyo. My primary care physician (Thomas Young) for my on-the-job injury has not cleared me to return to full duty and I agree with his professional recommendation. My on-the-job injury is still an issue physically, and returning to full duty is not in my best interest. Due to this reason, and the ultimatum presented by A.C. Padilla, I am submitting my resignation to the Kent Police Department as of 3/4/14.
