Re: Employment at City of Kent-Police Department
I am writing to officially tender my resignation from the City of Kent Police Department effective
07/08/2016.
Working for the City of Kent has been a great experience. I could not ask for a better group of
colleagues and will cherish the relationships I have built over the past 2 years. I have grown in many
ways during my time here and I appreciate the opportunities provided for me by the City.
My family has decided to move to Arizona for a better quality of life for my daughter Lucy. While we are
all excited about this new adventure, it is difficult to leave the place I've called home my whole life. I
cannot even begin to thank my management and coworkers enough for their support and assistance
during some of our toughest times.
If you have any questions, I will be happy to discuss this decision with you further.
Sincerely,
