Agenda:
1. Call to Order
Chair Piecewicz called the meeting to order at 5:31 PM
2. Roll Call Commissioner Thomas had an arranged absence.
3. Changes to the Agenda There were no changes to the agenda.
4. Approval of the Minutes
Commissioner Zaratkiewicz made a motion to approve the minutes
from the January 23, 2019 Civil Service Commission meeting. Motion
was seconded by Chair Piecewicz; motion passed 2-0.
5. Consent Items to Accept
A. Letters dated January 18, 2019 from Chief Examiner Winecka to Entry Level
Police Officer candidates Robert Chagnon, Alexander Cheesman, Kellie Greenhill,
Dustin Kirkham, Zachary Knight, Darren Morris, Donald Powell, Joshua Ratliff,
Carlos Hercules, Andrew Senseney, and Shawn Graves notifying them that their
names have been removed from the Continuous Testing Eligibility List effective
January 18, 2019.
B. Letters dated January 18, 2019 from Chief Examiner Winecka to Lateral Police
candidates Chad Hiwatashi, Kevin Perrotti, and Benjamin Roach notifying them
that their names have been removed from the Continuous Testing Eligibility List
effective January 18, 2019.
C. Letters dated February 1, 2019 from Chief Padilla to Sgts. Chris Mills and Eric
Tung notifying them that they successfully passed probation effective February 1,
2019 and are appointed to regular employment status.
D. Letter dated February 8, 2019 from Chief Padilla to Bradley Zuercher
congratulating him on being hired as a Probationary Corrections Officer effective
February 19, 2019.

E. Letters dated February 8, 2019 from Chief Padilla to Vincent Alatorre and Jaclyn
Adams congratulating them on being hired as Probationary Police Recruit Officers
effective March 1, 2019.
F. Memo from Chief Examiner Winecka summarizing eligibility list removals through
February 12, 2019.
There being no questions, Commissioner Zaratkiewicz made a motion to
accept consent items A-F. Chair Piecewicz seconded the motion; motion
passed 2-0.
6. Items to Approve
A. Eligibility list for Parking Enforcement Assistant that was established on January
23, 2019.
B. Continuous Testing Eligibility list for Lateral/Experienced Corrections Officer that
was established on February 4, 2019.
Commissioner Zaratkiewicz made a motion to approve into record items A
and B. Chair Piecewicz seconded the motion; motion passed 2-0.
7. Action Items
There were no action items.

Nothing further.
9. Adjournment
Chair Piecewicz made a motion to adjourn. Commissioner Zaratkiewicz seconded
the motion; motion passed 2-0. Meeting was adjourned at 5:36 PM.
