Call to Order Chair Piecewicz called the meeting to order at 5:32 PM 2. Roll Call All Commissioners were present. 3. Changes to the Agenda There were two additions to the January 4 and 14 Lateral Police eligibility lists. 4. Approval of the Minutes Chair Piecewicz made a motion to approve the minutes from the November 28, 2018 Civil Service Commission meeting. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Zaratkiewicz; motion passed 3-0. 5. Consent Items to Accept A. Letter dated November 16, 2018 from Chief Padilla to Crystal Sundquist notifying her that she successfully completed the probationary period and is appointed to regular employment status effective November 16, 2018. B. Letter dated November 21, 2018 from Chief Padilla to Alicia Moses congratulating her on being hired as a Probationary Lateral Corrections Officer effective December 3, 2018. C. Letter dated December 1, 2018 from Chief Padilla to Ofr. Tessa Melville notifying her that she successfully completed the probationary period and is appointed to regular employment status effective December 1, 2018. D. Letters dated December 6, 2018 from Chief Examiner Winecka to Brent Barker and Henry Dawkins notifying them that they have been removed from the Continuous Testing Eligibility List for the position of Experienced/Lateral Police Officer effective December 6, 2018. E. Letters dated December 6, 2018 from Chief Examiner Winecka to Kenny Odum, Erik Wickman, and Kevin Wooldridge notifying them that their names have been removed from the Continuous Testing Eligibility List for the position of Experienced/Lateral Police Officer, per their request, effective December 6, 2018. Letters dated December 6, 2018 from Chief Examiner Winecka to Kevin Bateman, Alden Coleman, Mark Schenck, and Michael Wood notifying them that they have been removed from the Continuous Testing Eligibility List for the position of Entry Level Police Officer effective December 6, 2018. G. Letters dated December 6, 2018 from Chief Examiner Winecka to Arron Brooks, Ronald Loehrke, Andrew Moore, and Zachary Nelson notifying them that they have been removed from the Continuous Testing Eligibility List for the position of Entry Level Corrections Officer effective December 6, 2018. H. Letters dated December 6, 2018 from Chief Examiner Winecka to Nathan Hurst and Pau Piang notifying them that their names have been removed from the Continuous Testing Eligibility Lists for the positions of Entry Level Police Officer and Entry Level Corrections Officer effective December 6, 2018. I. Letter dated December 7, 2018 from Chief Padilla to Gregory Jago congratulating him on being hired as a Probationary Lateral Police Officer effective January 2, 2019. J. Letter dated December 11, 2018 from Ofr. John Rainey tendering his resignation effective December 11, 2018. K. Memo dated December 13, 2018 from Chief Padilla accepting the resignation of Ofr. John Rainey effective December 11, 2018. L. Email from A/C Kasner and memo dated December 14, 2018 from Chief Padilla accepting the resignation of Ofr. Brandon Hamilton effective December 14, 2018. M. Letter dated December 18, 2018 from Chief Examiner Winecka to Records Specialist candidate Eben Card notifying him that his name has been removed from the eligibility list, per his request, effective December 18, 2018. N. Letter dated December 20, 2018 from Chief Padilla to Steven Donges congratulating him on being hired as a Probationary Lateral Police Officer effective February 1, 2019. O. Letter dated December 26, 2018 from Chief Padilla to Ethan Tudor congratulating him on being hired as a Probationary Lateral Police Officer effective January 2, 2019. P. Letter dated January 9, 2019 from Chief Padilla to Jamark Robinson congratulating him on being hired as a Probationary Lateral Police Officer effective February 1, 2019. There being no questions, Commissioner Thomas made a motion to accept consent items A-P. Chair Piecewicz seconded the motion; motion passed 3- 0. 6. Items to Approve A. Continuous Testing Eligibility list for Lateral/Experienced Police Officer that was established on November 20, 2018. B. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Police Officer that was established on December 6, 2018. D. Continuous Testing Eligibility list for Lateral/Experienced Corrections Officer that was established on December 10, 2018. E. Continuous Testing Eligibility list for Entry Level Corrections Officer that was established on December 10, 2018. F. Continuous Testing Eligibility list for Entry Level Police Officer that was established on December 12, 2018. G. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Police Officer that was established on December 17, 2018. H. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Police Officer that was established on January 4, 2019. I. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Police Officer that was established on January 14, 2019. J. Continuous Testing Eligibility list for Entry Level Police Officer that was established on January 14, 2019. Commissioner Zaratkiewicz made a motion to approve into record items A through J with the changes noted on items H and I. Chair Piecewicz seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0. 7. Action Items There were no action items. 8. For the Good of the Order Nothing further. 9. Adjournment Chair Piecewicz made a motion to adjourn.
