Agenda:
1. Call to Order
Chair Piecewicz called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM
2. Roll Call
All Commissioners were present.
3. Changes to the Agenda
There were no changes to the agenda.
4. Approval of the Minutes
Commissioner Zaratkiewicz made a motion to approve the minutes
from the October 23, 2019 Civil Service Commission meeting. Motion
was seconded by Commissioner Thomas; motion passed 3-0.
5. Consent Items to Accept
A. Letter dated October 16, 2019 from Chief Padilla to Jennifer Lund congratulating
her on being promoted to the position of Probationary Police Records Supervisor
effective October 16, 2019.
B. Email dated October 21, 2019 from Ofr. Jason Clift to Chief Padilla tendering his
retirement effective November 1, 2019.
C. Memo dated October 23, 2019 from Chief Padilla accepting the retirement of
Jason Clift effective November 1, 2019.
D. Letter dated October 31, 2019 from Chief Padilla to Ofr. Casey Clark
congratulating him on successfully completing the probationary period and being
appointed to regular employment status effective October 31, 2019.
E. Letters dated November 1, 2019 to Officers Patrick Baughman, Jim Beemer,
William Fritsch, and Jacob Mines notifying them that they successfully completed
the probationary period and have been appointed to regular employment status
effective November 1, 2019.
F. Letter from CO Ronald Harvey to Chief Padilla providing notice of his intent to
retire effective December 6, 2019.

G. Memo dated November 7, 2019 from Chief Padilla accepting the retirement of CO
Ron Harvey effective December 6, 2019.
H. Memo dated November 14, 2019 from Chief Examiner Winecka with the eligibility
list removals through November 14, 2019.
There being no questions, Commissioner Zaratkiewicz made a motion to
accept consent items A-H. Commissioner Thomas seconded the motion;
motion passed 3-0.
6. Items to Approve
A. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Corrections Officer that
was established on September 13, 2019.
B. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Corrections Officer that
was established on October 17, 2019.
C. Continuous Testing Eligibility List for Lateral/Experienced Police Officer that was
established on October 25, 2019.
D. Continuous Testing Eligibility list for Entry Level Police Officer that was
established on October 31, 2019.
E. Continuous Testing Eligibility list for Entry Level Corrections Officer that was
established on October 31, 2019.
There being no questions, Commissioner Zaratkiewicz made a motion to
approve items A-E. Commissioner Thomas seconded the motion; motion
passed 3-0.

There were no action items for this meeting.

Chair Piecewicz made a motion to adjourn. Commissioner Thomas seconded the
motion; motion passed 3-0. Meeting was adjourned at 5:33 PM.
