Dear Ms.Jacober:
I am pleased to provide you a courtesy notice today that Comcast will begin changing the way it
distributes local FM radio stations. Currently FM radio stations are included with our analog service
(Limited and Basic Cable). Customers are able to connect their cable directly to an FM receiver and tune
to various FM stations depending on where they live. On July 21,we will launch 23 FM radio stations in
crystal clear, digital sound on all levels of digital service. These stations will be free of charge.
The 23 local FM stations cover a variety of formats, from rock and country to smooth jazz and sports talk.
Customers throughout Western Washington will be able to choose from among two local public radio
stations, a classical music station,two college radio stations, and one station based in Vancouver,BC.
The current FM stations will be removed from analog service on August 11,2006. The 23 local FM
stations launching on digital service July 21 are:
