Dear Ms. Jacober:
Comcast is pleased to offer a new tier of service, which will be available beginning March 31,
2006. The Family Tier is a limited package of services that would generally be considered
family-friendly. The Family Tier, used in conjunction with parental controls available with a
digital converter, gives parents additional ability to manage viewing options within the home. A
digital converter, remote control and Limited cable service are required for each outlet receiving
Family Tier. MUSIC CHOICE and ON DEMAND are not available with the Family Tier.
With a Family Tier subscription, all additional outlets will only receive either Family Tier(with
a fee for additional equipment) or"Limited" cable service(without the additional equipment and
fee). The monthly price for the Family Tier service is $14.99, which is in addition to Comcast's
regular charges for"Limited" cable, digital converter and remote control equipment, which is
required for the Family Tier(prices do not include applicable taxes, franchise and FCC fees).
Certain services are available separately or as part of other levels of service. Comcast does not
control the content of channels included with Family Tier or other service subscriptions. If
customers are interested in the Family Tier and for availability, service and equipment details
