Color is to be Washington Gray and material shall meet requirements of the WSDOT standard specifications. This area includes the shotcrete on NE1, SW2, and SW3 walls. 2. REASON AND BACKGROUND FOR CHANGE Th is material change is being made to ease the removal of potential graffiti from the walls. This pigmented sealer is readily available and allo have it match the rest of the wall. This is not ws the City to paint over just the graffitied area and ossible with an acid stain. IrI. Scarsella is requesting a straight $1.10/SF increase for pigmented sealer in lieu of stain. At recent meetings it's also been noted that the bridge only requires pigmented sealer at outside face of barrier down face of last girder both side. WSDOT standard specification only include locations "as shown on plans." We cannot find where crossbeams or columns are included on this project. Does the City want to request sealer coating be added to bridge columns and crossbeams?
