Dear Bill,
We are excited to extend our service to the City of Kent by providing property data for inclusion in our
Recruit technology, and to extend the geographic scope of Recruit to cover the Kent Valley.
We are confident you will find this property data service to be a convenient and affordable option for
maintaining property data in Recruit, and likewise confident that it will maintain the unmatched user
experience Recruit provides to businesses and site selectors considering the City of Kent.
This letter serves as an addendum to our existing Software License Agreement (“Agreement”) with
effective date of October 15, 2020 and upon signature is incorporated therein, and documents (1) the
terms under which GIS WebTech LLC (“GIS WebTech”) will provide property data services to the City of
Kent, Washington (“the City”), and (2) the change in the geographic scope of the services . It is not
meant to replace any of the terms and conditions of the Agreement, and if any provisions herein are in
conflict with terms and conditions of the Agreement then the terms and conditions of the Agreement
shall govern.
Property Services to Be Provided
• GIS WebTech will provide property data in the City’s installation of Recruit, sourced through its
partnership with the Washington Commercial Brokers’ Association (“WCBA”), effective
immediately.
• This data will be received via an electronic feed directly from WCBA. No data entry or data
management is required on the part of the City.
• The property data set to be utilized is controlled by WCBA. The City recognizes that GIS
WebTech is not responsible for the quality and quantity of the property data and that GIS
WebTech makes no warranty regarding the data.
Change in the Geographic Scope of the Services
• Effective immediately, the Geographic Scope of the services, as that term is defined in Section
5.0 of Schedule A to the Agreement, will be the Kent Valley.
Fees and Billing
• The annual fee for the property data is $450.00 and will be invoiced immediately for the current
year of service. In future years this amount will be invoiced along with the annual license fee for
Recruit.
• Expansion of the geographic scope normally requires an increase to the annual license fee to
reflect the additional population served, but in consideration of the City’s ongoing technology
partnership with GIS WebTech we will provide the expanded geographic scope at no additional
fee.
