Approval of May 2004 Minutes Commissioner Bell MOVED to approve the May 2004 minutes, Commissioner Tate SECONDED the motion.Motion carried. II. Application Cycle—Staff Qverview Katherin reviewed therecent application cycie;for 2005/2006. She met with; Mayor White to review the funding decisions made by the Commission. She has aiso',scheduled ameeting with Mike Martin, Clue f Administrative Officer. The` formal G eneral F and funding r ecommendations;w HIM b e f orwarded t o t he Mayor and included in the budget for City Council to approve: The CDBG recommendations will be part of the 2005 Annual Action Plan,` whieh will be completed over the summer; The Action'Plan will be released£or' public coYtment in August:' The`'September Human Services Com�rission Meeting will include a,public hearing open for public comment on the Annual Action Plan. The Commission will then forward it on to the Council for approval.The final draft will be due to HUD on November 15, 2004, All agencies who applied for funding for 2005/2006 have received letters as to status of their request for funding. CDBG Capital Projects Contingency Pian Commissioner Beli MOVED to recoznrnend the following contingency plan for the 2005 CDBG Ca ital`Pro ects allocations Vice Chairman Trite SECONDED p the motion: If there is .an ancrease in funds, additional funds received or recaptured, the following will be funded: Kent Home Repair, up to $400,000.00 total, Multi Service Center Employment Services Project, up to $150,000.00 total, Public Facility Project, nonprofit rehab or Park rehab. If there is a decrease in funds, programs will be cut in the following order. The funds will be reallocated to fund the following: the Dent Home Repair Program, $70,184.00, Kent Parks Project in the amount of$120,000.00.
