Carri . :REGIONAL GOVERNANCE &FINANCE UPDATE Planner Katherin Johnson reported the Growth Management Planning Council(GMPC)met April 21, 1998 to review the Regional Finance and Governance package. Since there was not consensus among the Suburban Cities the GMPC returned the package for further work. SCA is to present a timeline for developing an acceptable package to the GMPC byMay 5. Johnson said using outcomes will require agencies to take a long term look at services. United Way is currently looking at outcomes as a part of their funding process. Performance measures are one of the current tools used which show the number of clients served. Outcomes will'show how those services provided have helped the client's condition or developmental growth. The City Council approved a request for action,accepting the maximum allocation of the CDBG'funds,and authorizing the Mayor to sign the form accepting the funds. The maximum'allocation for Human Services is$77,764,and Planning and Administration is $68,966.
