1. Call to Order/Roll Call:
Commission Chair Minutoli called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m.
2. Changes to Agenda:
None
3. Approve Minutes dated May 27, 2020:

4. Public Comment (if any):
None
5. Election of New Chair and Vice-Chair:
Commission voted to elect Scott Taylor as Chair and Rick Mniutoli as Vice-Chair.
Q&A occurred. All Commissioners present at the time of voting unanimously voted
in favor of the new Chair and Vice-Chair.
6. Update to Chapter 3.12 of the Kent City Code - Surplus of Real Property:
Deputy Director Levenhagen updated the Commission on the Kent City Code
Chapter 3.12 regarding the Surplus of Real Property. Q&A occurred. No actions
or decisions made.
7. 2021-2022 Budget Development Update:
Deputy Director Levenhagen provided a high-level update providing dates of
meetings and expectations in regards to the 2021 – 2022 Budget process. Q&A
occurred. No actions or decisions made.
8. Parks Capital Project Update:
Deputy Director Levenhagen shared the Parks Capital Update PowerPoint
presentation with the Commission. Q&A occurred. No actions or decisions made.
9. Director/Commission Updates:
· Kent was to reopen Parks in phase 3. However, King County and the state
allowed for parks opening now. Kent Parks followed suit under state
guidance regarding social distancing.
· Field rentals are reopening following Covid-19 guidelines.

· Sr. Center and Recreation center will remain closed.
· Summer meal update - KSD received permission to continue the program.
