Call to Order/Roll Call: Commission Chair Minutoli called the meeting to order at 5:06 p.m. 2. Changes to Agenda: None 3. Approve Minutes dated February 26, 2020: Approved 4. Public Comment: None 5. Welcome New Commissioner Chad McClung: Chair Minutoli welcomed Chad McClung as the newest Parks Commissioner and asked him to introduce himself to the Commission. 6. Chair/Vice-Chair Extension: Due to the stay at home extension and cancellation of the last two Commission meetings, it’s suggested to defer the Chair and Vice-Chair vote until either King County enters into phase 3; the Commission can meet in person or until July, August or Septembers meeting. Q&A occurred. A vote occurred. Moved – Scott Taylor, Seconded – Seon Youg, All in Favor Opposed – None Abstained – Vice-Chair 7. 2020 COVID/Budget/Services Update: Director Parascondola and Deputy Director Levenhagen gave the Commissioners an update regarding the City’s response to the COVID Pandemic and the usage of Kent Parks under these conditions. Q&A occurred. No actions or decisions made. 8. 2021-2022 Budget/Services Update/Process: Director Parasoncodola updated the Commissioners on staffing, positions, and workforce current status. Q&A occurred. No actions or decisions made. 9. Director/Commission Updates: Page | 2 June 16 City Council Meeting - Deputy Directory Levenhagen and PPD Manager Terry Jungman will be giving a presentation to Council on Parks Capital. At June’s meeting, we will have an update of the City of Kent’s Surplus policy of real property and its outreach and communication policy. 10.
