A not-to-exceed budget of $25,000 has been established for continuing work on
this phase of the Kent Station project. This estimate does not include direct
expenses. Our subsequent contracts for the predevelopment process will be part of
a larger package of Kent Station project consultants. It is anticipated that all
work on the predevelopment process will be completed by January 15, 2002.
As in all of our work, the City will be billed only for actual professional,
technical, and administrative time at the frrm's normal billing rates, plus requests
for compensation for direct expenses. The hourly rates for the HII personnel who
will assist the City are as follows:
Donald Hunter $235
Geoff Graham $175
Ernie Bleinberger $175
Direct expenses are billed at cost, without a mark-up or management fee. Bills
are rendered monthly and are expected to be paid within 30 days in order to avoid
interest penalties and collection costs.
